peppers that do very well here in Eastern WA.
May 28 Growing legumes and kid's class to learn journaling,
garden journal contest begins (finishes Aug 13th).
*June 11 Eat your landscape, incorporating veggies into the
landscape when you don't have much room to

grow them. Learn about using strawberries for 

ground cover, growing colorful veggies such as swiss chard, fragrant and blooming herbs, etc.
*June 25 Vegetable Gardening 101...Learn about intensive gardening, square foot and keyhole gardening.
*July 9 Container gardening...learn about correct selection of plants, drainage, fertilizing, etc.
*July 23 Let's Get Composting...will include vermiculture as well as many methods for composting
Aug 13 How did your Garden Grow...this is a return day for
the kids who entered the journal contest from May
28th class.
*Aug 27 Repurposing in the garden...a tour of our garden to showcase ways to repurpose/recycle for the
hardscapes such as benches and trellises, pathways
*Sept 10 Harvesting and storing of veggies for
winter....includes when and how to dig potatoes,
storage of onions, carrots, etc.
*Sept. 24 Gifts from the garden. Learn how to properly utilize
the efforts of your gardening includes how to dry
flowers and create with them, birdhouse gourds,
recipes for jams etc.
